1. You must have an honorable discharge from the United States Military.
2. You need to have at least 1 day of Active Duty during these eligibility periods:
a. August 2, 1990 - cessation of hostilities as determined by US Government
b. December 20, 1989 - January 31, 1990
c. August 24, 1982 - July 31, 1984
d. February 28, 1961 - May 7, 1975
e. June 25, 1950 - January 31, 1955
f. December 7, 1941 - December 31, 1946
g. April 6, 1917 - November 11, 1918
h. Merchant Marines 12/7/41 - 8/15/45 (only eligibility)
3. Post Dues are $40.00 USD. Bring in your proof of eligibility and dues to the Post Adjutant or simply download one of the Membership Forms and mail in to us with the required paperwork and your dues.

1. To be eligible, you must be a male descendant (includes grandsons, stepsons and adopted sons) of a member of the American Legion or an eligible member of the armed forces during the above listed dates. You would also be eligible to join the Sons of the American Legion if you are the male descendant (grandsons, stepsons and adopted sons included) of a veteran who died in series during World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, or the Persian Gulf War.

1. To become eligible, you must be a Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, Great-Granddaughter, Grandmother, Self of a member of the American Legion or an eligible member of the armed forces during the above listed dates. Step and adopted relatives are eligible.
